“It was a very nice atmosphere to play in. I want to say thanks to the fans because they pushed us from the first to the last minute. We gave everything today to win the game. We picked up a point, so it is okay.

“I think in the first half we were a little bit static. In the second half we played a lot better, we created a lot of chances, especially when we scored the equaliser. I think the Duk chance was a great moment to turn the game, but we pushed until the end. On another day we could have scored three or four goals. Today we just scored one and we take a point.

“For my goal, because of the weather I knew that the ball would go like this (from Richard Jensen’s cross) because the weather was on that side. I was waiting for this ball, and it came in a great moment.

“It is special to score. It is my first goal in the group stages, so I am proud. As footballers we work for this moment, so I am happy for this goal.

“We pushed hard for the winning goal. On another day we could have easily scored three or four goals. I think we were better on the pitch; I think we were physically better and you can see this on the pitch.

“We take the point and now we look forward to St Johnstone.”
