Barry Robson was pleased with a professional performance from his side to progress into the fifth round of the Scottish Cup, but he was also full of praise for the fight that Clyde put up.

“We had to work hard and we did that. The attitude was right and it was a thoroughly professional performance from the players that got the result it deserved.

“Credit to Clyde, they defended well with a five and then four in front. It was a hard block to get through at times, but we tweaked things after the first 15 minutes. We had Jamie and Dante stay really wide and got Jack and Nicky coming through to double up on the sides to try to stretch them and get through that way, which worked well at times.

“Getting the first goal was really important. It was a great finish from Bojan and he just keeps on scoring goals, which is the most important thing. We’ve looked to get his numbers up across the board, whether that’s forward run, pressing stats, and he has probably doubled his high intensity running from a year ago.

“He takes everything on board and puts it into practice. That’s incredible work from him, but that’s what gets him the goals. He’s developing, he’s getting better, he’s enjoying his football, he’s in a good place and at a club where he’s appreciated. We try and create a lot of chances for him and we need to keep feeding him.”
