The SWPL 1 post-split fixtures for season 2024/25 have been revealed. After Sunday’s defeat to Motherwell, Aberdeen Women find themselves in the bottom half of the table alongside Dundee United, Partick Thistle, Spartans, Montrose and Queen’s Park.

The sides will play each other both home and away to close out the league season. The Dons start the post-split fixtures at home to Dundee United on 16th March and round off the season away to Queen’s Park on 18th May.

For this season only, the bottom three teams in SWPL 1 will automatically be relegated to SWPL 2. The play-off match between SWPL 1 and SWPL 2 has been removed for this season with one team automatically promoted from SWPL 2. This means there will be a 10 team league in SWPL 1 and SWPL 2 for season 2025/26.

Ahead of the post split fixtures, the Dons sit in eighth position on 18 points, seven points above Montrose who sit in 10th, the final relegation place.

The Dons also have a Scottish Gas Scottish Cup Quarter Final match away to St Johnstone on 9th March. Before the post-split fixtures come into play, Scott Booth’s side play Spartans on 2nd March at the Balmoral Stadium.
