Leading NDT inspection and Integrity Inspection Specialists, Sonomatic have agreed a transformative partnership with Aberdeen FC to modernise the iconic Teddy Scott Lounge.

Renamed “Teddy Scott’s Kit Room by Sonomatic,” the lounge will honour the remarkable legacy of Club legend Teddy Scott, who served Aberdeen FC with distinction both as a coach and as its iconic kit man.

Teddy Scott’s infectious personality and dedication to Aberdeen FC left an indelible mark on the Club. Known for his extensive collection of unique memorabilia, Teddy shared his stories and experiences with many players and managers, creating an enduring impact on the Club’s heritage. Through the generous support of Sonomatic, this rich history will now be showcased in a modernised lounge that tells the full story of Teddy Scott’s extraordinary contributions to Aberdeen FC.

Offering a laid-back, informal hospitality experience, the Teddy Scott Kit Room by Sonomatic, is now the perfect environment for entertaining clients, relaxing with friends and family, or simply watching the Dons in style with this unique matchday experience.

In addition to the historical displays, the lounge will also feature a range of beers from Alphabet Beer, including a special collaboration brew named “The Kitman,” which celebrates Teddy Scott’s lasting impact on Aberdeen FC.

The Teddy Scott Kit Room by Sonomatic was officially unveiled at an event last night attended by Dons manager, Jimmy Thelin, who entertained guests in the new dynamic and inviting space which is now a fitting tribute to a true Club legend.
