Alfie Bavidge has today joined Scottish Championship side Ayr United on season long loan.

The 18-year-old, who has been involved with the Dons since the age of eight, graduating through the SFA Performance School, agreed a contract extension last year that will see the striker remain at the Club until at least 2026.

The striker made his Aberdeen debut on Saturday 4th February 2023 in a 3-1 win over Motherwell. Since then, he has gone onto make five appearances for the first team.

Last season Alfie spent the season on loan at Kelty Hearts in League One where he made 26 appearances and scored 9 goals. The youngster also played a part in helping the U18s win the Club Academy Scotland U18 League and played in the SFA Youth Cup Final at Hampden.

A Scottish Internationalist at U19 and U17 level, Alfie has been capped 17 times for his country, scoring twice.

Everyone wishes Alfie the very best of luck during his time at Somerset Park.
