Highly rated young talent, Holly McEvoy, has put pen to paper on a two-year deal with the Dons following the expiry of her contract at former club Liverpool.

The midfielder, aged just 19, has previously represented England at U18 level. The Liverpool native started her career at Everton, before making the switch across Merseyside to play for rivals Liverpool, where she represented the Under 21’s, lifting the Liverpool County FA Senior Cup in May 2024.

McEvoy has featured for the Dons as a trialist in pre-season and goes straight into the squad ahead of Sunday’s league opener against Rangers.

Speaking on the addition of Holly McEvoy to his squad, head coach Colin Bell said: “Holly is a technically gifted player and a real force in the midfield.

“We look forward to working with Holly to assist her continued development and give her a platform to build on the promising start to her career.”
