Three New Arrivals for AFC Women
The summer re-build continues for AFC Women with the arrival of three new signings.
Niamh Noble has joined the Club on a two-year deal from Glasgow City, meanwhile Nicola Jamieson and Megan Sidey both arrive on one-year deals from Dundee United.
Talented youngster Niamh joins from Glasgow City having previously been on loan at Dundee United last season.
The 19-year-old left sided defender is a Scotland Internationalist having been capped at U15, U16, U17 and U19 age groups.
Fellow defender Nicola Jamieson also arrives from Dundee United. An aggressive centre back, the 23-year-old offers both experience and stability which will benefit the squad.
Experienced goalkeeper Megan Sidey spent over a decade at St Johnstone, rising through their youth ranks. The commanding keeper spent last season at Dundee United, playing in the top flight for the first time.
“I’m delighted to further bolster the squad with the arrivals of Niamh, Nicola and Megan”, said Dons boss Colin Bell.
“All three have SWPL experience under their belts and will add to the blend of experience and young emerging talent we have within our squad.
“I’m sure all three will excel in this new environment and I look forward to seeing their continued development and contribution in the season ahead.”
