The brand new 24/25 Aberdeen FC away kit is available to order now! 

The Wasp Kit pays homage to a significant period in the club’s history and the design takes inspiration from the early days when the team was affectionately nicknamed “The Wasps” due to their distinctive black and gold striped shirts.   

In a first for Aberdeen FC and for Scottish football more generally, the Aberdeen Women’s team players have launched the kit to symbolise a new era for ‘The Wasps’. 

Infamously during the early 20th century, women’s football faced significant challenges and discrimination, culminating in the infamous ban in 1921, which prohibited women from playing on league grounds. This ban severely restricted the development of the women’s game for decades and meant that the Dons women did not get to represent AFC as “The Wasps”. 

With our new 24/25 away kit, Aberdeen Women will now have that opportunity alongside the men’s team together under one banner. 

The new away kit is available to purchase now via afc.co.uk/shop and will be available from the Pittodrie Club Shop from 9.30am on Wednesday 10th July. 

Due to delivery delays, the away mini kits will be available in due course.

Please allow up to 3 workings days before your order leaves us, we aim to have it delivered to you within 5 working days.   

If your online order includes shirt printing, please allow up to 7 working days, it should be with you within 7 working days after this.   

Please be aware that deliveries to some UK locations can take an extra 72 hours to arrive after leaving us.
