This Saturday (17^th February) we will be celebrating our annual AFC Community Trust (AFCCT) Day as Hibernian visit Pittodrie and the match is looking set to be a sell-out with big plans all around the ground to mark the special occasion…

In the Richard Donald Stand (RDS) Upper we will be welcoming almost 1,500 kids from 18 groups on a Dons Day Out and they will be taking part in creating the biggest kids Tifo the UK has ever seen!

AFC’s Supporter Experience Manager, Stephen McCormick explained the idea, “Throughout the history of Aberdeen there has been innovation from Donald Colman and the dugout right through to being one of the first clubs in the UK to have an active Ultras group and lots of colour at home matches and this Saturday’s Biggest Kids Tifo will be an extension of that.

“With it looking like there will be 3,000 supporters in the RDS Upper on Saturday, most of them kids, we believe this will be the biggest display of support from young fans in the UK to date, which is a really exciting thing to be part of.

“Saturday looks set to be a memorable occasion with lots going on at Pittodrie to highlight the work of the Community Trust and it should be a great day for any families looking to experience live sport and a real matchday experience in Aberdeen which is a bit different from normal.”

Just 250 tickets remain available for the RDS Upper, including 80 spaces remaining in our designated family area in RDU Block 5, for any families looking to take part in this unique display of support for The Dons. As ever all Under 12’s can claim a FREE ticket through AberDNA Junior so why not give the RDS Upper a shot this Saturday for the visit of Hibs?

In the RDS Lower we will also have a special commemorative display in recognition of our partner charity AFCCT as we celebrate their 10 year anniversary. That part of the ground is already sold out along with the Main Stand, Red Shed & South Stand Sections S-W. The only remaining availability is in the RDS Upper & South Stand sections X & Y.
