GETTING TO THE STADIUM

The Bolt Arena is located towards the north of Helsinki next to Helsinki Olympic Stadium at just over 2 kilometres from central Helsinki and its main railway station.

The walk north along Helsinki’s main boulevard Mannerheimintie takes about 30 minutes.

Alternatively, take one of the various tram lines that run along Mannerheimintie, which include tram 2, 4, and 10. Tram 2 takes a slightly longer route. Take any of the lines from Helsinki’s main railway station or elsewhere in the city centre, e.g. Senaatintori (tram 2 and 4) near Helsinki Cathedral.

Uber taxis are cheap but can be unreliable. The local taxi companies are more expensive but will usually be guaranteed.

If you arrive in Helsinki by ferry at the Western Terminals from Tallinn, first catch tram 7 or 9 into the centre and change to one of the above lines at Helsinki main railway station.

Address: Urheilukatu 5, 00250 Helsinki

The bars around the stadium are used by local supporters.

ENTERING THE STADIUM

Turnstiles open 90 minutes before KO (6.15pm). There are three search points. These are temporary barriers configured to funnel the supporters to the turnstiles. Tickets will only scan once. Seating, whilst sold as allocated, will be a free for all.

Do not take any unnecessary bags to the stadium. No bottles are permitted within the ground. Alcohol will be served at the stadium.

Please refrain from throwing the drinks containers. This can result in consequences for the Club with the governing body. Stairwells should be kept clear to allow for stewarding and first aid response.

There are 8 seats set aside for disabled supporters. Please note the disabled toilet is not close to this area, so be prepared and head to the toilet in good time. Male and female toilets are in good numbers.

Kiosks will accept card payment only.

AFTER THE MATCH

At the end of the match Aberdeen FC supporters will be held back until the pedestrian footfall of the home support returns to normal. This should be between 15-30 minutes.

GROUND REGULATIONS AND ADVICE ON UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR

PYROTECHNICS Please protect each other and the club. UEFA will fine any club who use pyrotechnics and the fines increase each time.  Anybody caught in possession of any pyrotechnics either entering the ground or within the stadium seating decks will face an indefinite ban from the club and could also face criminal proceedings.

Do not deploy pyrotechnics in public places. This could lead to arrest.

Do not take pyrotechnic devices to the game.

Do not light or throw them.

Do not pick up any pyrotechnic devices as you don’t know what type it is. Some explode after flaring or smoking. These can seriously injure you or kill you. Smoke alone can have serious health issues for asthmatics and those with bronchial or other health issues.

THROWING OF OBJECTS Do not throw any objects, especially over the segregation and trackside fences. This can lead to fines and sanctions.

INCURSIONS Please do not climb on fencing. Do not enter onto the track or field of play unless instructed to do so by Stewards or Police. This can lead to ejection from the stadium, arrest and sanctions from UEFA.

SMOKING/VAPING The stadium is a no smoking/vaping area.

DAMAGE Any damage caused to seating will cost your club, and that includes, toilets and other fitments.

FLAGS Flags of an offensive nature will not be permitted, and clubs can face sanctions if this is detected. Please be mindful of the political issues worldwide. No surfing flags or large poles. All flags will be examined for content at the search area.  Poles should be no more than 1m in length and 1cm in diameter.

MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS/MEGAPHONES Any drums or other musical instruments must be authorised by the host club. Megaphones are not permitted.

VENUE SECURITY

All spectators are reminded that security is the responsibility of all those at the ground and not just safety and security personnel. If you see something suspicious or unsafe, please report this to the nearest member of stadium staff, Steward or Club Staff Member.

GROUND REGULATIONS UNACCEPTABLE CONDUCT:- As at all fixtures, unacceptable conduct will not be tolerated. Any individuals attending the match who are found to have engaged in unacceptable conduct may have disciplinary action taken against them. This may include removal of ticketing privileges for games, removal of season tickets and bans from stadiums for a specified period/or other appropriate sanctions. Unacceptable Conduct may also lead to criminal charges. Both Clubs operate a zero‐tolerance policy towards racism. Inappropriate/offensive songs should not be sung and dependant on the content, could be followed up by the clubs, Finnish Police and Police Scotland.
