Vacancy | Part-time Youth Academy Coach
Aberdeen Football Club is a high-profile institution in the North East of Scotland with an impressive heritage of domestic and international achievements since the Club was established in 1903, including the ‘golden era’ in the mid-1980’s under the direction of Sir Alex Ferguson.

We now have a part time vacancy to join our team and become part of our Elite Tier Academy who have the ambition of becoming the ‘best developers of youth talent’ in Scotland. By adopting the coaching philosophy and values of Aberdeen Football Club, this position primarily focuses on the development of individual youth players within a team environment.
The role will involve guiding players through the club’s performance environment and helping individuals fulfil their potential, whilst playing at the highest level of Club Academy Scotland programme.

These positions are both part-time roles covering 3 x training sessions and 1 match day on a weekly basis. Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years working with a youth academy and should be qualified to UEFA A Licence, Elite Youth A Licence or Advanced Children’s Licence level. Potential candidates who have already achieved the UEFA B Licence and working towards their A licence may also be considered.
The salary for this role is paid on a monthly basis (12 months) and the successful candidate will be expected to start at the end of July 2023 in preparation for the new season.
