Following the huge success of the inaugural AFC esports event in September last year, the Club is pleased to announce its second esports event which will take place later this month.

Hosted in conjunction with Belong Aberdeen and GAME, the AFC FIFA 23 tournament will provide gamers the opportunity to prove they are the best FIFA 23 player in the North-East with double elimination qualifiers taking place at the Belong Arena, Aberdeen, with the final being played at the next AFC Fan Zone ahead of our match against Livingston on 25^th February.

QUALIFIERS*

Taking place at Belong Aberdeen, the qualifiers will be run with the option to enter any one of four evenings from 9-14 February:

Monday 13th Feb
Tuesday 14th Feb

Each evening will consist of 32 players in a Double elimination Qualifier Format. Each Evening 2 Finalists will qualify for the Finals at the Beach Ballroom.

FINALS*

The 8 winners (2 from each qualifier) will make it to the Finals on Saturday 25th February at the Beach Ballroom.

Competitors will then battle it out in the Quarter Finals with a chance to compete on stage for a number of fantastic prizes!

128 local gamers will be competing for a whole host of prizes in the FIFA 23 Competition over the coming weeks with the chance to play on the Main Stage at the Beach Ballroom Fan Zone on Saturday 25th February!

The Qualifiers will be run over 4 evenings at Belong Aberdeen. Each evening will consist of 32 players in a Double elimination Qualifier Format. Each Evening 2 Finalist will qualify for the Finals at the Beach Ballroom.

The Finals will consist of a straight knockout competition for the 8 finalists.

 

REGISTRATION

Competitors must arrive on time for a 5pm start to each of the Qualifiers and at 11:30am for the Finals.
