Jack Milne moves out on loan
Aberdeen defender Jack Milne has this evening joined cinch League One side side Kelty Hearts on loan for the remainder of the 2022/2023 season.
Jack was loaned out to Highland League side Brechin City for first half of the 2021/2022 campaign whilst also impressing playing for the Aberdeen B team in the SPFL Trust Trophy. The 19-year-old, who was originally a midfielder before recently being converted to a central defender, made his debut for the first team this season in a League Cup Group Stage match against Peterhead. He then made his League debut in the 4–1 win against Kilmarnock and has made four senior appearances in total.
In July 2022 the youth academy graduate signed a new three-year contract which means he will remain at Pittodrie until at least the summer of 2025.
Last season Connor Barron and Kieran Ngwenya both spent time at New Central Park.
The other young Dons, who are currently out on loan, are Dean Campbell (Stevenage), Connor McLennan (St Johnstone), Aaron Reid and Evan Towler (Elgin City), Tom Ritchie (Peterhead) and Kieran Ngwenya (Raith Rovers).
