Liam Scales, Ylber Ramadani, Bojan Miovski, Duk, Ryan Duncan and Evan Towler are six Aberdeen players who have all been called up for their respective national sides during this international break.

Liam Scales – Republic of Ireland

Liam was a late call up to the Ireland squad after being drafted in to replace injured Norwich City defender Andrew Omobamidele. The defender was called up to the squad last September but has yet to make a senior appearance. He has six caps for the U21 side. Ireland have two UEFA Nation League group matches to play in the next week as they face Scotland at Hampden Park on Saturday night (24/09/22, kick-off 7:45pm) before facing Armenia in Dublin next Tuesday (27/09/22). Ireland are third in their group with four points from four games.

Ylber Ramadani – Albania

Our summer signing from MTK Budapest has joined up with the Albanian national team ahead of their two UEFA Nation League group matches with Israel (24/09/22) and Iceland (27/09/22). Albania currently sit third in their group, having collected one point from their opening two group matches. Ylber has 20 caps for his national side and has scored once.

Bojan Miovski – North Macedonia

Bojan has joined up with North Macedonia ahead of their UEFA Nation League group matches with Georgia (23/09/22) and Bulgaria (27/09/22). Bojan has 10 caps for his national side and scored in their 4-0 win over Gibraltar in the Nations League in the summer. North Macedonia are second in their group on seven points, three points behind Georgia who top the group.

Luis ‘Duk’ Lopes – Cape Verde

After scoring in our defeat to Hibs at the weekend, Duk will meet up with his national team for a friendly match with Bahrain on Friday (23/09/22). He made his debut for Cape Verde in June in a 1-0 defeat to Ecuador.

Ryan Duncan & Evan Towler – Scotland U19’s

Ryan and Evan have both jetted out to Slovenia with the Scotland U19’s for their three Nation Cup matches. The young Scots will play Croatia, Malta and the USA over the next week. Both Ryan and Evan have yet to be capped at U19 level for Scotland. Ryan has enjoyed first team experience with the Dons this season and scored his first senior goal against Livingston last month while Evan is currently on loan with cinch Championship side Cove Rangers.

Good luck to all of the guys for the upcoming international fixtures!
