A designated family area will be located in the Richard Donald Stand Upper Block 5 starting from our first home league match of the season with St Mirren on Saturday 6^th August!

Over the summer local artist Reckless Graffiti has been commissioned to freshen up this part of the stadium (See below) and give the area a family feel with new artwork following on from similar work in the Red Shed last summer.

On matchday’s supporters in RDS Upper Block 5 will get to enjoy a family friendly atmosphere with entertainment such as face painting in place for kids along with regular visits from our mascots Angus the Bull, Donny the Sheep and Robbie the RAM!

Members of our Supporter Engagement Team on hand to look after the entertainment and ensure that everyone has as much fun as possible and our catering partner BaxterStorey will also have a kids meal deal on offer.

This area has been selected to enable larger families and groups to find seats together, something that is difficult to do in the lower sections of the stadium apart from the uncovered areas in the South Stand which are open to the elements all year round. Having welcomed many Dons Day Out groups, AberDNA Junior members and first time attendees to the RDS upper already last season we are looking forward to improving their experience with a dedicated space for families this season.

Around 450 places will be available in the family area for each home league match starting with the visit of St Mirren on Saturday 6^th August.

Tickets for that match are on sale now are on sale now with FREE tickets available for all Under 12s through AberDNA Junior. Tickets can be purchased online, by calling 01224 63 1903 or by visiting the Pittodrie Ticket Office Monday – Friday 9.30am – 5pm or Saturday 9.30am – 3pm.

FREE tickets for Under 12s with AberDNA Junior

All Under 12s can claim free match tickets through our AberDNA Junior membership which is designed to engage with the next generation of supporters and grow the fan base.

Every youngster who becomes a member will have the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of their football heroes and ‘Sign for the Dons’ where they will be invited to Pittodrie to officially ‘sign their contract’ and be unveiled as AFC’s latest signing.

All U12 members will be able to access two free match tickets during the 22/23 season, allowing them to enjoy a matchday experience at Pittodrie, why not start with our league opener against St Mirren?

Family Area Season Tickets

The best way to secure your place in the family area is as a season ticket member. By sign-up for the campaign ahead with a season ticket you will also benefit from a significant saving on match-by-match prices.

Under 12s can join us in the family area for the full season for just £47… £2.47 per match!

The option to spread the cost over 6 months at 0% interest, with all fees covered by AFC, also remains available for supporters who sign-up ahead of our match with St Mirren on Saturday 6^th August.
