Ryan Duncan Joins Peterhead on Loan
Ryan Duncan has tonight joined Scottish League One side Peterhead FC on loan until January.
The 17-year-old winger, who has been with the AFC Youth Academy since the age of nine has scored nine goals in the Club Academy Scotland U18 League this season and has three assists.
A Scotland U17 international, Ryan has been a stand-out for Barry Robson’s side and also impressed in the recent SPFL Trust Trophy victory over Arbroath at Pittodrie. The midfielder made his Aberdeen first team debut against Rangers last season.
The highly rated youngster heads out on loan with the aim of gaining some valuable experience in a competitive league as Dons Pathways Manager, Neil Simpson, explains:
“This is a fantastic opportunity for Ryan to get some much-needed minutes in a competitive league.
“The balance of continuing to train with us full time whilst also playing for Peterhead, will undoubtedly aid his continued development.”
