Jack Milne has today joined Highland League side Brechin City FC on loan for the 2021/22 season.

Jack is a Youth Academy graduate who also attended the SFA Performance School at Hazlehead Academy. The 18-year-old central midfielder joined the Club in the summer of 2020 and was a regular for the Under 18s at the end of last season when they played in the Club Academy Scotland U18 mini-league.

The Aberdeen youngster heads out on loan following a strong pre-season and with the aim of gaining some valuable game time as Dons Pathways Manager, Neil Simpson, explains:

“Jack is technically a very good footballer and is ready for the demands of League football.

“This loan spell will give Jack the opportunity to gain some invaluable experience, in a tough league, whilst benefitting from the professional guidance of Craig Levein and Andy Kirk.”
