Renowned attacking specialist seals deal with the Dons

Aberdeen FC confirms it has agreed terms with England coach Allan Russell to join the new management team with Stephen Glass and Scott Brown.

The former professional footballer, who has gained a global reputation as a striker and attacking specialist, will join the Dons as assistant first team coach and will also continue in his role with the English FA.

Allan will bring invaluable experience gained from working at the last World Cup and consistently coaching the world’s top attacking players over the last four years.

The Dons manager is thrilled to be adding a coach of Allan’s calibre to his staff.

“This is a significant appointment for the Club and Allan’s expertise will be hugely beneficial for both myself, the staff and the players.”

Allan is eagerly looking forward to his new role at Pittodrie.
