Dons return to action
It is 120 days since the Dons were due to play Motherwell before the game was cancelled due to the COVID-19 crisis.
They returned to action this afternoon.
Scottish Premiership teams on Friday were given the go ahead by the Scottish Government and the SFA to arrange games against each other ahead of the season starting on August 1.
The Dons drew 2-2 on Saturday with Ross County in the bounce match at Cormack Park. Bruce Anderson had put Aberdeen two goals ahead, but County levelled the match with two goals in the second half – Regan Charles-Cook and Billy Mckay netting for the Staggies. There were nine AFC Youth Academy graduates involved in the training match.
