Red Army Info for Tynecastle
The following information was received after the pre-ops meeting on Friday:
Travel
Aberdeen supporters attending the match should make regular checks with Traffic Scotland if they are travelling by road. They should also listen to traffic updates on the radio.
Aberdeen supporter’s coaches and mini-buses can park on Russell Road.
Car parking in the area is restricted, so please consider public transport into the area or at least car share. All supporters are to be reminded that McLeod Street will be completely closed to vehicles from one hour before kick-off until 30 minutes after the match with no exceptions.
The Disabled Supporters Bus can drop off in line with the road closure on McLeod Street. Please make use of the Roseburn Stand lift.
Pre-Match
There are plenty of bars in the local area. Please bear in mind that you may not be permitted entry to the stadium if you are believed to be drunk.
At the Ground
Please expect to be searched before entry. This is normal practice and supporters should be familiar with such requests by Stewards and Police.
The Aberdeen Support will be accommodated in the Roseburn Stand and have been allocated all of section K, L and M in Upper, all K and L and part of M in Lower.
Segregation – G4S banners will be in place in Roseburn section J upper and lower and the first three rows behind the goals in Section K Lower will be screened off.
The ticket pod is not in use.
Turnstiles open at 1pm.
8 turnstiles and feeder barrier controls will be used for this area.
Tickets are for ALLOCATED seating. Supporters are kindly asked to sit in their designated seat and not to congregate on the concourse or in the vomitories.
No smoking of cigarettes or E-cigs is permitted. Prolonged standing can become a safety problem, please abide by any direction given by stewards.
Flags must conform to relevant fire regulations. Flags must not be offensive in any way. No surfing flags. No flags with a pole in excess of 1m will be permitted. There will very limited space for individual flags to be draped over seating. Please be directed by stewards on these matters. The Stadium Safety Team will have the final say as to whether a flag is permitted into the stadium. The Drum is permitted. Please make good use of it!

Please note – the throwing of any objects is strictly prohibited. This has been high profile at a number of games recently. The use of pyrotechnic smoke has also occurred at two of our recent games. Please note It is illegal to discharge these devices in public places. The smoke alone can have serious health issues for asthmatics and those with bronchial or other health issues. DO NOT attempt to pick any device up after flaring or smoking as they can cause serious injuries. Heart of Midlothian FC are required to operate the same rules on unacceptable behaviour as all other clubs in the SPFL. Please read the information on the Hearts Web Site and on the back of your ticket for further details. IF YOU WITNESS ANY UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR FROM ANY SUPPORTER, PLEASE REPORT IT TO STEWARDS OR POLICE AT THE TIME. THIS CAN HELP DEFUSE SITUATIONS QUICKLY.
