In preparation for 2020, Aberdeen Football Club are looking to strengthen their coaching team with two part time coaching roles, based at the new Cormack Park training complex.

The Club is an ambitious organisation looking towards further success and long-term sustainability in support of our football team by adding value across every area of our day to day business for the overall benefit of our staff, supporters and clients.

By adopting the coaching philosophy and values of Aberdeen Football Club, these positions primarily focus on the development of individual youth players within a team environment. The role will involve guiding players through the club’s performance environment and helping individuals fulfil their potential, whilst playing in Club Academy Scotland programme.

There is also an expectation for Academy coaching staff to travel to top level European Academy tournaments and undertake a personal Coach Development plan.

This coaching position is a part time role covering 3 x evening training sessions and 1 weekend match on a weekly basis.

Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years coaching experience and must have previously obtained either a UEFA A Licence, Elite Youth A Licence or Scottish FA Advanced Children’s Licence.

Interviews for this role are expected to start the week commencing 13th January 2019 and will involve both formal and practical elements of the recruitment process. The successful candidate will be required to start no later than February 2020.
