The following information has come from the pre-ops meeting:

TRAVEL INFORMATION

Please check the internet for ongoing roadworks in Edinburgh. Some may affect your travel plans dependant on your intended route. Avoid the city centre unless you are actually staying there or taking the train. Ferry Road is the advised route for most supporters travelling from the North.

Local Bus Service – The Lothian Region Transport buses depart Princes Street every few minutes and stops in London Road at Easter Road, which is only a few minutes’ walk to the Stadium.

Route maps are located at most bus stops.

Train Service – Edinburgh Waverley is served by trains from all over the country and adjoins Princes Street. The Stadium is about a 20-25 minute walk from Princes Street. There is a taxi rank situated within the Station.

PARKING

Easter Road Stadium is located at 12 Albion Place, Edinburgh, EH7 5QG. The Stadium is situated on the north east side of the City of Edinburgh and is on the east side of Easter Road, in Albion Place/Road. Aberdeen Supporters will be accommodated in the South Stand.

Private vehicle parking is best done to the west of Easter Road and outside the TTRO (Temporary Traffic Restriction Order) area which is enforced on match day.

Supporter’s buses can park on the North side of London Road in the coned off area between the two junctions with Hillside Crescent. It’s a 10-15 minute walk from there.

Please arrive at the stadium as early as possible and bear in mind that Temporary Traffic Restrictions are in place from 2pm which affects vehicular access near the stadium.

AT THE STADIUM

With the Festive Period in mind and in line with all of our away games, please do not attempt to enter the stadium whilst drunk. This could result in a refusal or arrest. So please enjoy but don’t ruin your festive period!

Please note, expect to be searched prior to entry.

Aberdeen supporters will enter the South Stand via turnstiles 5, 6, 7 and 8.

Turnstiles will open at 2pm. Tickets are for allocated seating. The other half of the South Stand is occupied by home fans. There will be segregation in place internally and externally. At the end of the game Aberdeen Supporters will be guided right, towards Crawford Bridge if necessary.

A small number of tickets will be available at the Away end kiosk up until kick off or until sold.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Recent games have seen pyrotechnic smoke devices being deployed in the Aberdeen sections. These items are illegal and highly dangerous. Anyone using these items, or throwing objects, risks prosecution and Banning Orders from not just the Court but also club.

If you witness any unacceptable behaviour from any supporter, please report it to stewards or Police at the time. This can help defuse situations quickly.

Any flags should be of an appropriate nature and will be scrutinised by the Safety Team. Please note that no surfing flags are permitted and limited room will be available for larger flags as our allocated area is nearly full. Thank you.

Safe travels everyone and COYR!
