Alex McLeish has named his Scotland squad for the upcoming fixtures against Israel and Portugal. Scotland will play Israel in the second game of their UEFA Nations League campaign and the following weekend meet Portugal.

Aberdeen skipper Graeme Shinnie is once again named in the squad and will be looking to add to his three caps so far. Also Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna returns after his injury earlier in the season kept him out of the last squad. Scott made his debut in a 1–0 defeat against Costa Rica in March and in the last of his four appearances against Mexico in June he was named as captain.
