Increased renewal rate sets Dons on course to match last year’s record total.

With just a few days to go until the start of the 2018/19 Ladbrokes Premiership season we are pleased to announce that season ticket sales have once again surpassed 10,500 and are on course to match last year’s record total of 11,000.

Encouragingly the number of season ticket holders is slightly higher than it was at the same stage last year and the renewal rate is currently sitting at 84.5% which exceeds the percentage reached for the entirety of the 2017/18 season.

Rob Wicks, Commercial Director of AFC said, “Reaching 10,000 season ticket holders was a barrier for some time at the club so the fact that we are now working towards 11,000 reflects positively on the direction the club is heading in and the backing that we get from fans.

“The atmosphere last Thursday night was electric and if we can continue to generate that type of buzz each week it will give the players a real boost and our season ticket holders play a fundamental part in that.

“We know what the competition are capable of in terms of season ticket numbers so it’s vital that we continue to grow support ahead of what promises to be an exciting season. On behalf of everyone at the club I would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to those who have signed-up so far.”
