Cove Rangers Statement: Jordon Brown
Cove Rangers have shared the following statement with us following the injury to Jordon Brown during today’s friendly match:
“As has been reported by the media today, Cove Rangers opening game at Balmoral Stadium against Aberdeen FC was overshadowed by a serious looking injury to Cove Rangers player, Jordon Brown.
Jordon suffered a head injury as a result of an accidental clash of heads with Aberdeen FC player, Andrew Considine, in the 50th minute of today’s game. The club would like to report that Jordon has been assessed by the medical team at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, his scans are all clear and he will be discharged this evening and monitored over a further 48-hour period.
We’d like to thank the medical staff from both Cove and Aberdeen FC, police and ambulance crew who attended to Jordon in a speedy manner. This has undoubtedly led to the best possible outcome.
Everyone at Cove Rangers wishes Jordon all the very best as he continues his way towards a full recovery.”
