A team of AFC supporters faced an Aberdeen FC Former Players side on Friday 29th June in the second Aberdeen FC Community Trust challenge match at the brand-new Cove Rangers Balmoral Stadium.

The match was held with the intention to raise funds for Aberdeen FC Community Trust to help continue their work throughout the North East and Cove Rangers’ chosen charity Befriend a Child.

With a final score of 6-0 to the former Dons it may not be exactly what the Red Army were hoping for, although the crowd of 820 fans certainly enjoyed the evening.
