Pre-Season | Dons travelling to Cork for Friendly
Aberdeen can confirm this morning that they are heading to Ireland for a pre-season training camp and they have also arranged a friendly match against Cobh Ramblers.
The Dons will be based in Cork during the last week in June and will play local side Cobh Ramblers on Saturday the 30th June at St. Colman’s Park, Cobh, County Cork. The match will kick off at 2.00pm.
Cobh, who play in the SSE Airtricity League First Division and are already 16 games into their season, will provide the first opponents for Aberdeen during the pre-season campaign.
Derek McInnes last took his side to Ireland for a pre-season training camp in the summer of 2014. His squad that summer were based just outside Dublin and they played a friendly against St Patrick’s Athletic. New signing Chris Forrester was amongst the scorers that day in the 2-2 draw.
