Scottish Cup 4th Round Draw: Aberdeen v St Mirren
The William Hill Scottish Cup draw took place today.
The Dons have this afternoon been drawn at home to St Mirren in the William Hill Scottish Cup Fourth Round. The tie is scheduled to take place on the weekend of the 20th & 21st January. Aberdeen & St Mirren last faced each other in the Scottish Cup back in 2011 when The Dons won a quarter final replay by two goals to one following a late equaliser in Paisley in the first match.
Derek McInnes gave us his reaction to the draw:
“St. Mirren are going well just now at the top end of the table and will provide a really stiff challenge. In a cup competition, you just have to take what you get and we’re grateful it’s at home.
“It will also see Cammy Smith and Jamie Langfield return to Pittodrie and that’ll add to the occasion I’m quite sure. But it’s one we’ll look forward to when the time comes around.”
The full draw is:
