New Sponsor for Donny the Sheep!
Aberdeen FC Community Trust (AFCCT) is delighted to announce that a syndicate of North-East entrepreneurs has confirmed arrangements to sponsor the Trust’s mascot for the 2017/18 season.
Thanks to the generosity of the entrepreneurs Donny the Sheep will proudly sport SensationALL on his shirt for the rest of the 2017/18 season.
SensationALL is a Westhill based charity, which provides activities and sensory facilities for children and adults of all ages with learning and physical disabilities in the North East of Scotland. The charity also provides training and consultation to families, carers, professionals and other organisations.
AFCCT first developed a partnership with SensationALL earlier this year when Aberdeen Football Club was named Scotland’s first autism friendly football club, following its commitment to significantly improve the match-day experience at Pittodrie Stadium for all visitors living with autism. Since then, SensationALL has been providing support to ensure the Club achieves this goal.
Ally Prockter, Chief Executive of Aberdeen FC Community Trust was keen to stress the community benefits the partnership will provide.
“I am thrilled to have a sponsor for Donny the Sheep and look forward to working in close partnership with SensationALL to highlight the work of both charities, this is a great example of different charities working together to provide support and opportunity for the North East, and to help raise awareness about important issues that can affect anyone.”
The partnership has been supported by Leathan Prestige who have been a major supporter of the Trust over the years by sponsoring them in the Celebrate Aberdeen Parade and showcasing the Aberdeen FC Community Trust logo on some of their taxis.
Be sure to keep an eye out for Donny the Sheep sporting his new ‘kit’ throughout the North East over the coming weeks & months!
