Aberdeen Football Club is delighted to announce that Archie Knox’s autobiography – The School of Hard Knox is now available to purchase in store and online.

Archie is a Dons legend, having been Sir Alex Ferguson’s assistant throughout the 1980’s and helped bring two Scottish Cups to Pittodrie and of course the European Cup Winners Cup and Super Cup in 1983.

Archie would later follow Sir Alex to Manchester United and help rebuild the sleeping giant of English football.

Archie would enjoy further success with Walter Smith at Rangers, before teaming up with Craig Brown in leading the Scottish National Team. In 2012 Archie returned to Pittodrie alongside Craig and the duo laid the foundations of recent success for the Club.

A true great of Scottish football, Archie is now able to share some of his fantastic stories through this book, which is forwarded by Sir Alex, as well as contributions from Craig Brown and Walter Smith to name a few.

Archie will be at Pittodrie on Saturday 30th September signing copies of his autobiography in the Main Reception from 11am-12.30pm.
