Jonny included in final ROI squad

Jonny Hayes has been named in the final squad for the Republic of Ireland for their forthcoming international friendly fixtures against Switzerland and Slovakia.

Jonny will meet up with his Irish teammates this evening.

Martin O'Neill originally selected a 40-man provisional panel but that has now been reduced down to 33 players.
The Republic of Ireland will play Switzerland on Friday, March 25 and Slovakia on Tuesday, March 29 at Aviva Stadium.

Republic of Ireland U21s

Meanwhile Dons goalkeeper Danny Rogers was named in a 24-man ROI U21 squad for two upcoming UEFA U21 Championship Qualifying Round Group 2 fixtures against Italy and Slovenia. The Irish face the Italians at the RSC, Waterford, on Thursday, March 24 (6.00pm), then travel to Koper to face Slovenia on March 28 (5.00pm Irish).
