Craig grew up in Carluke in South Lanarkshire and has been with Aberdeen since the age of 10. He was coached in the AFC Youth Academy’s Glasgow Centre by former Aberdeen legend Peter Weir.

The 17 year old joined the Dons as a full time professional at the Glasgow Centre two seasons ago despite being chased by a number a big clubs at the time including Manchester United.

Craig, who captained the Scotland School Boys side, was unfortunate to pick up a shoulder injury during his first year at Pittodrie which kept him out for a long time but has recovered from that and is now showing the massive potential he has. Craig signed a new two and a half year contract last season meaning the highly promising player has committed his immediate future to the club.

Last season he played and scored for the first team in a friendly game against Viking FK at Pittodrie. Shortly after that in November he joined League One side Forfar on loan for one month which allowed him to gain some first team experience at Station Park.

Recently a member of the Scotland U18 squad, he is a player highly thought of at the club.
