Aberdeen FC can confirm midfielder Craig Storie has left the Club.

A product of the AFC Youth Academy, Craig signed his first professional contract with the club in 2012 and made his debut that season in a 1-0 win against Kilmarnock. He spent the next two seasons on loan at Forfar and Brechin City before returning to Pittodrie. His talent really came to the public eye when he started against Celtic in February 2016 and put in a man of the match performance that resulted in his featuring heavily in the squad for the remainder of the season. The following season he joined St Mirren on loan before returning to the Dons for the start of the 2017/18 season.

The 22-year-old, who played for Scotland at various age levels, made 15 appearances for the Dons first team and a spokesperson said. “Pittodrie has been a huge part of Craig’s life and everyone at the Club wishes him all the very best for the future.”
